Florida Baseball Tournament

Josh had a baseball tournament in Florida the first weekend in January.  Cody and I went down with Andy, Janelle and the boys to watch Josh play.  It was a beautiful weekend.  The first night they had opening ceremonies that turned out to be a little weird...more like a cub scout meeting having the boys do crazy/odd things to introduce the different teams.  It took wayyyyyyyy too long and leaned into the realm of uncomfortable behavior by the main lead guy, which continued throughout the entire weekend. Other than the opening ceremonies and having to play a team that had horrible (coach led) sportsmanship that we ended up having to play twice,  it was a nice weekend.

Somehow Cody and I got the BIG room, so everyone came up to hang out and play games.

We went out to eat and saw a GATOR bus.  We don't see that much in our neck of the woods, so I had to get a picture(GO DAWGS)😏

The boys played great, but were eliminated in the last round, which meant they were able to leave earlier and didn't have to stay for the last playoff game.  It's a 7 hr. drive, so we weren't too disappointed with the loss.  It's always fun to watch the boys play, so it was a win overall⚾🌞
