January

January was cold and long.  It's always the month that seems to last foreverrrrrr. We had snow, not once, but twice. The first time it was a significant amount for Georgia.  It's fun when we get enough snow to actually enjoy.  The second time was more of a dusting.  Snow is so pretty and peaceful.  The snow made January much more tolerable.

           

           

              

                                        

Cody was scheduled to leave and drive back to Phili, but he had to postpone his trip for a few weeks because of the weather. We made the most of it and fed our hungry birds that were searching for something to eat.

                                                   We managed to make a small snowman.

We also had to de-ice our vehicles a few mornings...

I love running when there's snow on the ground.  There was a shaded corner of the trail that still had a good amount of snow left, but the path was pretty clear so I didn't worry about slipping on the ice.  

                     We made it over to watch Josh play basketball, which is always fun!

                       We were definitely looking forward to February and some warmer weather
