April

April is the month of Blooming. I always love flower season⚘, We have so many flowers in our yard that bloom. We  make our own backyard bouquets.

We had some creature features in April.  Casey wanted to keep the turtle and watch it grow into a full size turtle. Casey is fine with anything that doesn't eat or compromise his grass (squirrels/rabbits = bad).  Turtles are grass approved.  However, we decided to let nature take it's course and set the turtle free, but we enjoyed watching it for a few hours.

            We were able to watch one of Josh's baseball games.  His team won!!

                     

It made Janelle so nervous when Josh was stealing bases.  She didn't want to look😄

                                               We had several beautiful sky days/evenings😍

Kaitlyn and I went to our local mall.  We heard the mall had been bought out and closed down, but apparently the pending sale didn't go through, so there are just a few stores still open.  It's a little ghost townish. So sad.  I used to go here all the time and shop. This year they even had the Easter Bunny there for pictures, but I heard nobody showed up.  People were there walking for exercise when Kaitlyn and I were there. End of an era😔

We had some family come for Easter dinner.  And one night it was even warm enough for a hot dog roast.

                                    

At the park where I run at Christmas there is someone who decorates a tree.  I always love seeing it.  This year was the first year it was decorated for Easter.💚

                                      And I started prepping for end of year gifts for our class...
