Merry Christmas & Happy New year!

We had the family here for Christmas.  They came in shifts.  Kaitlyn and Alex arrived first. Alex had to work most of the time, with a few days off for the holidays.  Cody & Andy(and family) arrived next.  Amy came in for a few days, before heading to spend time with her family in Tennessee. We found a few fun places to eat and explore and just enjoyed our time with everyone, and of course we took some pictures. 🎄

We did several fires with smores - Always fun!

Casey decided he'd try to roast a donut.  He said it was good.  I wasn't a fan, but everyone else thought they were pretty good.

  

A few puzzles were done(not by me).  Yay for the puzzlers!

This year we decided to decorate cookies instead of doing gingerbread houses.  Everyone enjoyed it, and I think it will be our new tradition.  I got a couple of kits from a mom of one of my preschool kids.  They were really fun.  We added a few of our own circle cookies, frosting and toppings.  They turned out so cute!

We took some family pictures while everyone was together.  

  

We ended with a Happy New Year Celebration!  We are all a bunch of old folks who barely made it to the countdown!

Thanksgiving

We had a fun Thanksgiving with Andy's family here.  Andy brought his smoker and we had our first smoked turkey.  The weather was nice, so the boys were able to play outside. We also had a fire and roasted some smores one night, and just enjoyed the time to relax and eat(of course).

Josh was asking why I'm always taking pictures, so I went around and got a selfie with everyone...well, except Casey.  

And of course, his favorite Uncle Ryan💗

Janelle wanted to get some pictures for Christmas cards, so we also took some pictures.  Always so much (crazy) fun!💗
