Grandma's Visit
We were lucky to have Grandma Thornton come for a visit.
As always it was lots of fun!!
We went swimming at the lake several times.
We went shopping for some UGA attire and met a few Dawgs on the way. They have several of these Dawgs(The UGA mascot) all around Athens, and each one is painted in a different theme. We found the Firehouse Dawg, and the Traveling Dawg.
We walked the trails at the Botanical Gardens, even though it was 100 degrees outside...and almost didn't get any pictures. I had left my memory card in the computer, so I was really bummed that I wasn't going to get any pictures during this beautiful nature walk. However, at the very end of our walk Ryan found a 1 GB memory card in the parking lot, so I put it in my camera a captured a few shots...Thank you Ryan!!
We went shopping, bike riding, swimming and enjoyed every minute of her visit here with us!
We miss her already!!
We love you Grandma Thornton!!

1st week of school
School has started and everyone is so excited(not really) to be there! Cody has decided to go out for football, and Kaitlyn soccer, so our fall schedule will be a busy one. The biggest concern this year in starting the school year was Ryan and his unwillingness to go, but he is doing great, and we are excited for Ryan and his successful 1st week in 1st grade!!
