Blue Heron

One afternoon last week we had a blue heron flying around our yard for about an hour.  It was so cool to see and watch.  We've seen blue herons before, but never in our own yard.  The photos aren't very clear, because every time we moved inside toward the windows it would fly away.  We had to be slow and sneaky to get these two pictures.  

And of course I had to look up the deeper meaning of it all, which I loved💓

Land of Cotton

The cotton was beautiful again this year.  Casey & I both thought the crop was more plentiful than in previous years.  It's so fun to watch it grow and enjoy the beautiful view.

Festival Weekend

Andy and Casey had a booth with their flags at local 3-day holiday festival last weekend.  The weather was perfect, and they did really well.   Janelle and I went on Friday with the boys to look around at the different booths.

Sunday we headed over to the Botanical Gardens to play in the new Children's Playground, but it's  reservation only(thanks covid).  The boys weren't too happy, so we walked around a bit before we left and headed to Dairy Queen for some treats.

 

This was the Mediation Garden - I need to go back and visit this one more often.

They had a cucumber Trellis that was pretty cool.
