Weekend With Friends

We had our good friends In North Carolina come for a visit last week. Their dad had some work meetings close-by , and the kids were out of school Thursday & Friday, so the family came along for the visit. The weather, of course, was rainy(as always seems to be the case when they are here), but we made it outside...

for a few rounds of duck-duck-goose

and some bubbles

We filled our week with crafts, baking cookies, watching movies...oh, and video games for the big boys and a much too late night(G-r-U-M-P-y!!)!

Saturday we went took everyone to the movies and watched The Tooth-Fairy(7 out of 10 of us thought it was cute)and had dinner at Longhorns(yum).

Thanks for coming Ouzts Family....MAYBE next time it won't rain!

We have a new driver in our house...

Snow Day

Everyone gets excited around here at the thought of snow, especially after last year when we were only suppose to receive a few inches and ended up with 6-7. It doesn't happen very often, so when it does it's a real treat! Yesterday it was predicted we might have some snow/sleet, so everyone was very hopeful. However, we ended up only having a very little dusting and a 2-hr. delay.

Ryan was still happy with that. He got out early & played in the small amount that managed to still be in our yard this morning. Kailtyn & Cody chose to sleep in instead of enjoying our few flakes.

Static

We've had a lot of static electricity in our house lately

Ryan thinks it's funny to give everyone the shock treatment, so he loads himself up several times a night & searches out his unsuspecting victims.
