It's not often, and especially lately, but every once in awhile we do get snow in Georgia. It was Saturday, so we didn't miss school(darn). And it didn't last too long, but we still enjoyed watching it fall before it turned into rain.
“There is no doubt that it is around the family and the home that all the greatest virtues, the most dominating virtues of human society, are created, strengthened and maintained”--Winston Churchill

Merry Christmas 2019
We had a fun Christmas with everyone home. There was shopping, gaming, Nerf wars, baking, running, smores, and so much more!
We started out with cookies. Josh is always a big help in the kitchen.
We had some Christmas tree decorating, and Grandpa even got in on the fun.
Janelle and I must have made a Gazillion PB&J's...
Things got pretty serious around here with multiple rounds of Nerf wars. Darts were flying everywhere.
Kaitlyn and Cody went through some of their tubs in the attic - cleaned out and organized. We still have more to go, but it was good start. I even had some helpers decide to organize and clean out my refrigerator. Merry Christmas to me!
It's my favorite time of year, because it's the only time that we have everyone home at the same time! The weather was good enough to enjoy a few outdoor games as well as a night for s'mores. We also enjoyed some of our favorite eateries around town.
Some of my favorite Christmas decorations are ones the kids have made over the years(and a few more).
We had a very Merry Christmas!
And a Happy New Year!
Kaitlyn and I ran in a 5k New Years Day. It was cold, but at-least the sun was shining and it wasn't raining. We met up with a good friend and enjoyed a New Years Day race!
And per the usual, I made everyone pose for some family photos...they weren't thrilled, but they did it! And I'm thankful - love my peeps♥♥♥♥
