1st Week of School

This is my 5th year working at the preschool, but it's my first year with the 2yr. old class.  It's been fun, because a lot of these children I had last year in the younger class.  This is our 1st week back to school. It's been exhausting but also fun😃  Great kids + great co-workers + great parents = A great year!

30 Year Anniversary

We celebrated our 30th anniversary this year.  30 whole years.  That seems like a lifetime, but also I don't feel that old.  Time goes so quickly, and we've covered a lot of ground. We've lived in 4 different states, moved 7 times, and we've had a lot of fun and growing pains along the way. That's what growth is about, right?!  I wouldn't change a thing, and I'm thankful for all of the time and love our lives have been blessed with, not to mention our 4 children💜💛💚💙

Ponte Vedre Florida

Casey and I went to Florida for a work meeting. We didn't get to go last year, so I was excited to go this year.  After dealing with some septic issues we left a little late, but we were still able to stop in Savannah for a late lunch/early dinner at one of our favorites 

We spent the next four days at Ponte Vedre enjoying the beach, collecting shells and shark teeth.  It was just Casey and I this year.  Hard to believe it was the first time in 30 years we didn't have atleast one of the kids with us😲

This was the 1st shark tooth Casey found.  He was excited!

We had some good seafood eats while we were there...

We always seem to forget something and this time it was forks.  Casey decided he would wash his comb and use it as a make-shift fork until we could get to the store.  I asked him how that went, and his response was, "it tasted a little hairy" = barf😷

Always so hard to leave!  It's my favorite place!!💜💛💚💙💗💜💛💚💙💗
