Yay for work meetings at the beach!! We love to accompany Casey on these fun trips. This time it was at a beach in Florida. We were able to stay at a nice resort and have private access to the beach all week. The weather cooperated(I was worried with the torrents of rain on the way down), and we enjoyed a wonderful week at the beach.
This beach was full of shells. We loved shell hunting in the mornings before it became too hot and crowded. In certain areas the sand looked like a floor of shells. I've never seen anything like it. We couldn't get enough and came home with a lot of great shell souvenirs. Casey even found his shark tooth he's been on the search to find for many years - SUCCESS!!
On our way home we made a quick detour through Savannah and stopped at one of our family favorites! It was a wonderful week full of good eats and lots of fun memories - BEACH TIME IS THE BEST TIME!!
