Birthday #14

I arrived home just in time to celebrate Ryan's birthday. Casey was out of town for work, so Ryan and I went out to dinner and came home to party!

It's really hard to believe 14 years has gone by so quickly. Ry is our tenderhearted child who always brings peace into any situation, whether it be with friends at school or at home with family. He's not a fan of conflict and chooses to avoid it at all cost. I've had to really be careful, because not only do words sting this boy but also any sort of disagreeable look. He is the sweetest, kindest, and overall caring child/young man.

It's been so fun to watch him grow up and mature. Time is going way too fast for this mamma!! We are enjoying every last minute we have left with our Sweet Ry.

14 fun facts about Ry that you may or may not know:

1.) He loves banana bread, bacon, beef stew, mashed potatoes, pizza, twix, kit-kats, almond joys, and Dairy Queen blizzards.

2.) His favorite subject in school is not math.

3.) He's becoming quite the artist.

4.) One more year until he starts driving....he likes to remind me often. Boo!

5.) His favorite restaurant is INOKOS - Japanese.

6.) His favorite music group is 21 pilots - He knows EVERY word to EVERY song.

7.) His favorite thing to watch is Good Mythical Morning on You-tube.

8.) He still loves his PB&J's...usually around 10 pm.

9.) He really, really, really wants a set of drums - parents remain undecided.

10.) He loves FFA. They've got a really great teacher that heads it up, so it makes it really fun. They are going to the state competition this year again in November.

11.) He is running cross country for the first time this year. He's doing good and makes it look easy. I don't think I would run cross country in the GA heat!

12.) He also says he wants to run track in the spring. I think he wants to do sprints. He's got quite the kick at the end.

13.) He still loves his XBOX 1

14.) He is a good helper and loves family time. He has a tender heart and a very sweet disposition. We love our sweet Ry!
