We met Andy, Janelle and the boys last weekend at Jaemor Farms for their First Day of Spring Celebration. They had tulips you could pick and Peach Orchards in bloom that were open for picture taking. It was unusually cold and breezy, so we bundled up and enjoyed our time together.

Daffodils
Daffodils are always the first sign of spring in our yard. It's the first spot of color and is a very welcome site. This time of year seems so long, dark and cold. When color arrives it's a spirit lifter and very much loved and appreciated! I picked a few to bring into the house help brighten our indoor space.
Casey has been replacing a few of our bird houses as well. Another wonderful part of spring is the sound of the birds chirping.
We decided to plant our own strawberries this year. We are very excited and hope they are very productive in producing fruit. We won't see anything this year, but we are very hopeful for next spring!
