Storm of The Century
The Storm of the Century, also known as the ’93 Superstorm, No-Name Hurricane, the White Hurricane, or the (Great) Blizzard of 1993, was a large cyclonic storm that occurred on March 12–March 15, 1993, on the East Coast.
It was exactly 16 years ago today that we received a foot of snow while we were living in Blacksburg Virginia. It was also Kaitlyn's due date. I was 9 months pregnant & we were getting pounded with snow. We were a little worried if something were to happen, we wouldn't be able to get out, so we parked our car up on the main road in ready position in case of emergency.
Over the next few days after the storm we built igloos and enjoyed playing in the snow, hoping it might help speed things along. As luck would have it, Kaitlyn wasn't born for another 2 weeks.
